QUICK ANSWER
Once the individual packing format is chosen, approve one complete packed sample and a written specification covering artwork, SKU allocation, labels, packing position and export-carton instructions.
Create one packing instruction for each SKU
Identify the bag design, colour, logo version and the individual packaging required for each SKU. State which card, label or accessory belongs with each item. Avoid sending several files without explaining which version applies to which product.
Check retailer artwork and barcode requirements
Ask the buyer or retailer to provide the applicable barcode, language, country-of-origin and other required wording. Confirm artwork version, placement and approval responsibility before printing. Scan the barcode on the actual approved pack if a barcode is required; destination and retailer requirements vary.
Record the packing sequence and finished condition
Describe whether the bag is folded, filled or left open, and where tissue, protective inserts or tags are placed. Photograph the accepted packed sample. Check that components do not rub against the logo, clear panel or hardware and that unpacking leaves the agreed presentation.
Approve export cartons against the buyer's receiving plan
Agree quantities by SKU, carton marks, carton dimensions and any buyer-specified weight or handling limits. Clarify whether colours may be mixed in a carton. Measure and check the actual carton plan rather than copying estimates into final shipping documents.
Freeze the approved product and packing files together
Keep approved bag photos, packaging artwork, SKU allocation and carton instructions in one revision-controlled specification. If the format has not been selected, compare the individual packaging options. Use the bag sample checklist alongside the packed sample, then discuss the programme through Custom Cosmetic Bags.
