Start with the sales channel
A cosmetic bag sold on a retail shelf needs different presentation from a gift-with-purchase item, subscription-box product or e-commerce order. Tell the factory how the product will be displayed and distributed.
Choose the simplest suitable individual pack
Options can include a protective polybag, paper sleeve, belly band, insert card, hangtag or retail box. The right choice should protect the bag, communicate required information and match the target cost.
Provide mandatory artwork early
Share logos, barcodes, care information, country-of-origin wording and other required text before packaging sampling. Confirm language versions and placement rather than adding them after bulk bags are finished.
Protect shape and surface finish
Structured vanity cases may need tissue, inserts or protective wrapping. Soft pouches can often pack flatter, but printed, velvet, clear or metal-trimmed surfaces may require additional protection from rubbing.
Check export-carton efficiency
Individual packaging affects carton quantity, volume and freight cost. Confirm the packed product dimensions, units per carton, carton marks and any maximum weight requirements before production is completed.
