ANONYMOUS RUSSIAN CUSTOMER CASE · PU JEWELRY BOX

From a Small-Sample Concern to 500 Custom PU Jewelry Boxes

A Russian buyer needed a compact jewelry box. After comparing sizes and interior options, one sample concern led to a practical design revision and a 500-piece order across three PU textures.

THE BUYER'S CONCERN

Would larger gemstone rings fit inside a compact box?

We first presented several size and interior options for the buyer's small-format jewelry box. The selected sample used a 12.5 × 12.5 × 5 cm structure, red ostrich-textured PU outside and a coordinated red velvet interior.

After receiving the sample, the buyer was concerned that larger gemstone rings might not suit the available space. We recommended removing the mirror from the final direction. The customer approved the revision and placed a 500-piece bulk order.

HOW THE PROJECT PROGRESSED

One compact structure, three PU surface treatments.

01

Options reviewed

Several compact sizes and interior layouts were offered before the buyer selected the sample direction.

02

Interior revised

The buyer raised a concern about larger gemstone rings, so the mirror was removed from the final approved direction.

03

Three styles produced

The 500 pieces combined one red ostrich-textured PU style and two crocodile-textured PU styles with the same red velvet colour direction.

CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT

The project moved from one compact box into a larger-format sample.

Soon after the 500-piece order, the buyer requested a new jewelry-box sample with approximately twice the footprint. The follow-up sample continues the red ostrich-textured PU exterior and red velvet interior direction. It is described as a sample in development—not as a completed repeat bulk order.

BUYER QUESTIONS

Useful facts from this Russian jewelry-box programme.

What size was the small jewelry box?

The approved compact format measured 12.5 × 12.5 × 5 cm.

What materials were used?

The exterior styles used PU with ostrich or crocodile textures, while the interior colour direction used red velvet.

Why was the mirror removed from the final design?

After reviewing the sample, the buyer was concerned about accommodating larger gemstone rings. We recommended removing the mirror, and the buyer approved the revised direction before ordering 500 pieces.

How many exterior styles were included in the order?

The 500-piece order used one red ostrich-textured PU style and two crocodile-textured PU styles, all coordinated with the same red velvet interior colour.

Does the interior photograph show the final bulk-production design?

No. It documents the earlier sample before the mirror was removed. It is labelled as pre-production evidence on this page.

Was there a follow-up project?

Soon after the 500-piece order, the buyer requested a larger-format sample, approximately twice the footprint, continuing the red ostrich-textured PU and red velvet design direction. That follow-up was still in sampling when this case was published.
