CUSTOM BAG BUYER GUIDE

How to Compare Custom Bag Quotations

Compare supplier quotations fairly by checking specifications, exclusions, MOQ, sampling, packaging, inspection and trade terms.

Use one controlled RFQ

Send every supplier the same dimensions, material direction, construction, logo, quantity, packing and destination. Quotations based on different assumptions cannot be compared reliably.

Check what the unit price includes

Confirm outer material, lining, padding, components, logo application, individual packing and export carton. Ask suppliers to identify unconfirmed items rather than allowing silent substitutions.

Separate one-time and recurring costs

Sampling, moulds, printing screens, metal-logo tooling, custom zipper pulls and EVA tooling may be quoted separately. Record which costs apply again on repeat orders and who owns the tooling.

Compare MOQ and colour splits

A supplier may accept the total quantity but require a minimum for each colour or logo version. Confirm whether mixed colours use stock materials or require custom dyeing.

Align timing and trade terms

Compare sample time, production lead time, price-validity period, payment terms and Incoterms. An EXW price and an FOB price cover different responsibilities, so they should not be compared as equivalent totals.
