CUSTOM BAG BUYER GUIDE

Custom Rhythmic Gymnastics Bags: Hoop, Club and Ribbon Case Guide

Plan custom cases for rhythmic gymnastics hoops, clubs and ribbon sticks, plus coordinated team bags, with the right dimensions, structure, materials and branding.

QUICK ANSWER

Start by listing the exact equipment, maximum dimensions and quantity each case must carry. Hoop cases need shape support and a practical opening, club and ribbon-stick cases need length and tip protection, and team bags need clear athlete identification. Approve the fit with actual equipment before bulk production.

RFQ CHECKLIST

Send these details for an accurate sports-equipment bag quotation.

  • Reference pictures or a tech pack for every required bag style.
  • Maximum dimensions and quantity of each item to be packed.
  • Quantity per model and colour, plus logo and athlete-identification requirements.
  • Preferred material, padding, lining, carry method and expected use.
  • Destination, target timing and whether a physical sample is required.

Begin with an equipment list, not a generic bag size

A rhythmic gymnastics programme may need separate storage for hoops, pairs of clubs, ribbon sticks, ribbons, shoes, clothing and personal items. State the maximum dimensions and quantity of every item, whether equipment will be packed individually or together, and whether the bag is for one athlete or a team. This allows the pattern to be built around the real contents.

Plan the hoop case around diameter, quantity and opening

Confirm the largest hoop diameter, how many hoops the case must hold and whether the buyer prefers a full zipper, partial zipper or another opening. The case should support the round profile without making loading difficult. During sampling, insert the actual hoops and check zipper clearance, edge protection, handle balance and whether the case keeps its shape when carried.

Protect clubs and ribbon sticks from movement

For clubs, specify the maximum club length, number of pairs and whether internal separation is required. For ribbon sticks, confirm whether they are stored assembled or collapsed and whether ribbons need a separate pocket. A simple sleeve may suit light use, while padded panels, elastic retention or dividers can provide more organisation for travel and team programmes.

Choose materials for the expected use

Polyester and nylon are common starting directions for lightweight sports bags, while padding, lining and reinforcement can be added where equipment needs more protection. Confirm the required appearance, cleaning method, water-resistance expectation and destination-market requirements. Material performance should be approved from a physical swatch and completed sample rather than assumed from a fabric name.

Reinforce the points that carry the load

Handles, shoulder straps, zipper ends and attachment points should be planned around the loaded weight and carrying method. Large hoop cases need balanced handle placement, while long equipment sleeves should not bend excessively when lifted. Review reinforcement, stitching and carrying comfort with representative contents during sample approval.

Create a coordinated team-bag system

A team programme can use consistent colours, logos and labels across hoop cases, apparatus sleeves, duffel bags and cosmetic pouches. Confirm athlete names, numbers, club branding, logo method and colour allocation before quotation. If several styles share one programme, list the quantity required for each model and colour rather than giving only a combined total.

What to include in the RFQ

Send reference images, equipment measurements, quantities per case, preferred materials, colours, logo artwork, estimated order quantity, destination and required delivery date. Use the sports bag MOQ, logo and sample checklist, then review the custom gym and sports bag range before requesting a quotation.

Approve the sample with real apparatus

Check loaded fit, zipper movement, internal retention, handle balance, seams, logo position and packing. Record any revision in writing and approve one controlled sample or specification before bulk production. Changrong can review reference images or a tech pack and propose a practical OEM or ODM development route.
